Overseas Mission Support

Andrew & Tanya Smith

Discipleship and Agricultural work in

Mozambique.

They live in the village of Lumbiza where they are setting up a "Foundations for Farming" training centre and are involved in different ways in their church and local community.

Andrew teaches God's Word through demonstrating farming techniques.

Tanya home-schools some of them and runs a kids club.

Dema and Carolyn

Dema and Carolyn and their children, Grace and Daniel, are from Mizoram, India.

From 2001-2004, they served in Central Asia with Global Interaction. Since 2010 they have been serving in Thailand, forming friendships and seeking to share the message of Jesus with the Ethnic Thai people. There are multiple faith communities meeting regularly with Ethnic Thai believers being equipped and empowered to lead these groups.

In late 2016, Dema and Carolyn relocated to a new area in Thailand where there are very few followers of Jesus. Dema works as an English teacher at the local school and this role gives him a significant identity in the community on which he can build relationships. Carolyn is also involved in teaching at the local primary school. They participate as a family in many local community events.

Their vision is for their Ethnic Thai friends in their new location to respond to the message of Jesus and for a faith community to be established where Ethnic Thai people will be empowered to share the Gospel within their own communities.
