Latest Details about Covid - 19 Virus affecting Church Events

Thursday 19th November 2020
All Church Chapel events closed for the 6 day Covid 19 Lockdown in SA. Pastor Arthur may do an alternative livestream from home on Sunday as we cant even live stream this Sunday. Bible Studies liable to be on Zoom next week. Watch for directives from the leadership group.

Friday 19th June 2020

Pastor Arthur has received official notification that we can now increase out numbers attending the Chapel functions but the 4 Sq metre per person rule still applies. This means we can only have a maximum of 29 attending the Sunday services withing the main Church Service room. Therefore we still need to select the 29 (minus the Pastor, music and live stream team) by invitation until restrictions lift further. The Service will still be available live-streamed on Facebook and the Website.

The Thursday Morning Bible Study group have recommenced face to face meeting in the function room of the Chapel instead of on Zoom.

Sunday 31st May 2020

The leadership have circulated a letter to the members detailing the current changes. The Covid 19 restrictions are starting to be relaxed and this now allows us to have 20 people attend the Sunday Service in the Chapel. This figure includes the members involved in presentation of the service and the live-stream process. Some of our congregation have not been able to access our services on the internet and have therefore been in a position of isolation from other members. Starting today, some of these people were invited to attend the service and others will be invited on a rotating basis during the next few weeks. As things relax further and we can have more people in the Chapel, the leaders will let you know how they intend to involve more of you on a rotational basis as you feel comfortable returning to a face to face meeting. We will be continuing the live-streaming for the foreseeable future so that those unable to attend yet and those of you who don't feel comfortable joining us in person yet, can continue watching at home. The leadership will keep you up to date on the changing circumstances. Stay Safe - Bless you

Sunday 10th May 2020

The Government have announced a stepped approach to lifting the Covid 19 restrictions starting tomorrow. As a result, our Church will be taking slow measured steps in the process of returning to the "new" normal. Currently we have five people in the Church building on Sunday mornings involved in producing the live streamed service. Starting next week we will add a person doing the Bible reading live and some musicians/singers into the process. As restrictions lift, we anticipate gradually increasing the number of people in the service.

To include more people in the service we have been videoing people at their homes to include in the live streaming service. At this stage, we anticipate continuing the live streamed service until the end of the year and maybe longer in some format. Watch this space for the unknown to reveal itself so we all have more direction.

This Sunday we also streamed the service to the Web page as well as to Facebook and all being well, we will continue to do this.

In an effort to keep people unified during this isolation period we have a weekly "Keeping in touch" series of posts on the Church Facebook page.

As we journey towards the new normal, your face to face participation in this will be your decision entirely, naturally dependant on your particular circumstances and vulnerability (age, medical condition, family members at risk etc).

Adult Bible Studies will continue on the "ZOOM" platform until further notice.

Stay safe - keep in touch with and uplift one another - place your trust in the Lord

Church Prayer Meeting Sunday 22nd March 2020

Today we held church outside. We listened to Psalm 91, sang Amazing Grace, How Great is Our God and Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, and people prayed. We were joined by visitors from Kadina and members of a Christian Motorcycle Club up from Adelaide.
Next week , unless things change, we will meet in the chapel with chairs spread out to allow 25 - 40 people and will at least record the whole service until we can get our live stream up and running.
